What do you get when you put a business strategist, climate activist, energy analyst, and performance artist in a room together?  You take-on energy and oil addiction in a way it's never been explored before.

Join the Human Impacts Institute for an inspirational evening of performance, discussion, and challenges to the energy status quo.  Explore with us!

This Human Impacts Salon will explore how and why we make decisions about the bloodline of our civilizationenergy---and the impacts of our addiction to fossil fuels: Explore decision-making, inspiration, and human impacts through the lens of activism, art, business and science; Learn about Germany's commitment to transition to clean energy and investigate the pitfalls and potentials for the U.S. to move beyond a fossil-fuel based society; Challenge what inspires social and environmental action and drives us towards change with our interactive panel and performances; and Take home tools for impacting energy consumption and climate action in your community, school, home, and business.

About Human Impacts Salons
The Human Impacts Salons bring together leaders in creativity with community leaders, environmental experts and activists. Salons create a space for inspiration, collaboration and exchange over cultural avenues for sustainability and environmental action. Past Salons have been held at galleries, stores, and universities in Berlin, Leiden, and NYC on topics ranging from Art as Social Change to The Power of Vulnerability. Guest participants have included environmental lawyers, performance artists, yogis, activists, architects, doulas, and many more inspiring individuals.
